my first blizzard and snow man!!

we got a blizzard and lots of snow the last week. in the last two days we've gotten about 9 inches in our backyard up to a foot and a half in other places around here.

these are some pics from the last week when there wasn't much snow. the dogs are funny in the snow. its deep enough for them to sink in so they hop thru it like bunnies lol

there was 3 inches the first night (last saturday) then it melted in the next two days and then it started coming down again on thursday... since then there's tons!!

i made naked barefoot footprints!! snow is cold!!

there was a killer icicle, well its still there. hanging down under the back porch, its cool!!

MY PUPPIES ARE SO CUTE!!! SHE'S PREGNANT!! GONNA HAVE LITTLE WIENER DOGS IN JANUARY!!!

puyallup fair (Puy·al·lup lol for you arizonians)

a couple of weeks ago we went out to the puyallup fair (puyallup is just another random washington city no one has ever heard of till they live here). it wasn't bad. it was actually sunny outside :) we had about two weeks without rain at all, they calli t an indian summer up here... i don't get it lol. all i've ever known is summer so the fact that it ever is not summer is just weird...

we went to the fair and walked around a bunch. didn't go on any rides cuz it was saturday so the lines were two years long. we sat thru a cooking demo (scott loved it) and at the end they tried to sell us $2000 pots and pans so we split lol. not like we even have a kitchen... why would we need pots and pans.

it was nice to be out of the house. it was a pretty day and we don't get many of those lol. it was just nice to walk around (i'm trying to lose a bunch of weight so that helps lol.) i wanted to take some cute pics of us cuz our camera has been in hiding since we got here... i didn't remember i had it till the end tho so the only pic i actually took at the fair is this one lol...

scott made me cut all his hair off for a job interview so he'd look more professional... and he didn't even get the stupid job!!!

it is so depressing here!! i'm sick of being cold!! and wet!! i wanna go home!!

willie hates it too. he won't go potty outside when its raining lol he's a scardy cat.

belle doesn't mind i guess. she hates being cold, but the rain makes moths come inside and she loves to chase them and eat them lol

i was just sittin out in the rain the other day... it was freezing but i don't CARE. it hailed on me...

ward family vacation july 2008

our first week up here was the ward family reunion. all scott's brothers and sisters got together for a week of family fun...



monday we went on a hike... i hate to hike... but i made it :) we went to a place called Twin Falls and hiked about a mile in and a mile out. it was beautiful and hanging out with his family is fun, especially all the nieces and nephews :) there was a river all the way along the hike that led up to the falls (hence the name, twin falls) and at the bottom we had a little spiritual moment there.. it was a good day!





















tuesday we drove three hours to the washington coast to spend a day at the beach... i was thinking yeah beach. sun sand and swimming... ha ha i was not quite right on that one... there was sun... but there was fog and wind to freeze me to death... there was sand... but it was cold! the kids and scott's dad and brothers built a pretty sweet castle... but i didn't move much... and swimming.... HA HA HA that water was so cold that standing in up to my ankles made my toes so cold that i thought they'd fall off!!! despite all that lol i had a good time, again mostly watching the nieces and nephews :)

one of the boys found a live jelly fish.. it was pretty sweet. i touched the top... it doesn't boing like on nemo! little Arianna(2) liked it. she loves nemo! we took the jelly fish when the kids weren't looking and set it free lol. i'm pretty sure it was already dead :(
p.s. my hair was a MESS!!

Wednesday we went to the woodland park zoo in seattle. it was fun. i love the zoo!! there are quite a few animals that aren't at the phoenix zoo... brown bears, hippos, salmon, and the coolest of them all was the armadillo!!!! it was so cute!! of course the nieces and nephews had a blast!! the really funny thing tho was that there were elk in a big enclosure. i laughed cuz they are all over the place in northern az. and there was a deer exhibit... i didn't see any deer in there but i saw a few out in the trees on the way home lol.









Thursday we just hung out at scott's sister's house. ate, played rock band, took pictures, and had a good time. that's our niece Isabel with the bunny, she's one :) her dad moroni is on the guitar in the next pic with our other niece Kayla(13) on drums.

that's dustin and lisa and their boys ausitn(7) and jake(5). they're super cool!

friday we went to the seattle science center and IMAX. it was pretty interesting. the video (deep sea adventure) was not too much fun, but the kids liked it and that's what counts :)

the coolest things in the science center were the mirror and the bubble wall... the pics tell it all lol

the last day of family fun we went to dinner with scott's parents, shawn (scott's brother) and his wife to Lake Washington to eat dinner at Ivar's and walk around the lake. we decided to take a break on the grass to enjoy the sunset... alone :)

i got a job!!! kinda...

i got a job :) well kinda... :) i get to start watching my sister in law's kids next week!! i'm excited :)

this is derrik.. he's 2, almost 3... he's a typical terrible two's boy who i get the wonderful chance to potty train while i watch him... fun fun fun... :/ lol

this is samantha ann. she's a great baby!! she's only 6 weeks old! so cute!

hopefully having these two on my hands will ease my baby hunger for a while... at least till i can have my own!! :)
