my family is forever!

we had the wonderful opportunity to be sealed as a family for time and all eternity on saturday, october 23, 2010 in the Seattle, WA temple. it was a wonderful experience! they had to wake up Alix in the baby room to dress her and bring her up so she was very unhappy in general. scott took her from her escort to try to make her happy, then i took her cuz she was reaching for me. i got her to stop crying and even smile a little, but then i betrayed her by handing her over to scott's mom to hold her hand on ours for the sealing and she screamed bloody murder! she did not want to be held in place! she calmed down after she was back in my arms tho and it was a wonderful experience overall despite her meltdown. it was raining hard so we didnt get too many pics, but we did get a few good ones :)

It's that time of month again!!!

that's right! alix is another month older! here's her fun fall pics and some in her Halloween costume:)
she's getting so big! this past month she has started standing while holding onto the couch and is even trying to pull herself up to standing on anything she can get her hands on. she's not crawling yet, but she's getting close. she likes to scoot on her booty while sitting up and she's been really getting around the last few days like that so it wont be long before we have to do some hardcore baby-proofing!


























we had another litter of puppies again since the last time i posted so look forward to seeing them on here soon! there's six of them!
also, we will be going to the Seattle Temple next week to be sealed for time and all eternity as a family so there will be pics from then coming your way too :)
